Returns for all non-commissioned goods…
I am confident that you will love the artwork you buy and take care to ensure that the pictures and details of the artwork listed are as accurate as possible.
In the unlikely event that you wish to return the artwork you receive, you can arrange for a return of the artwork in line with the criteria below.
If you have changed your mind about the purchase…
Please let me know within 14 days to request a return and receive the returns address, and courier advice and information, should you change your mind about a purchase. Goods must be returned back to me in their original, resaleable condition within 28 days of original receipt to receive a refund or exchange.
The customer returning the goods must meet the cost of the return shipping, and I strongly recommend the use of the packaging methods and couriers I used, which will help to ensure a safe return with trusted services, with a level of cover for you if any damage or loss occurs. The customer should retain dated photographs of the goods in perfect condition before packaging, after packaging, and get a receipt upon dispatching the item/s. As the goods are owned by the customer (until a refund or exchange has been issued) if the goods are lost or damaged during return transit, it is the customer who is liable and responsible for investigating any issues with the courier (including if necessary requesting any compensation etc.) Although I will of course be happy to assist where I can.
If the request was made appropriately within 14 days and goods are received satisfactorily within 28 days, I can then either offer an exchange or refund of the cost of your artwork - excluding the original shipping cost amount, and a small transaction fee to cover my additional costs. Any refunds will be made via Paypal to the payment method you used on purchasing. If you have any questions about this process, please contact me here.
Returns for Commissioned Artwork…
The commissioning process is a highly personalised experience designed around each clients’ needs. During the commissioning process, described in more detail here in the FAQs, there are lots of opportunities for clients to review the work and feedback (in line with customers preferences) to ensure it is both what the client was looking for and something they love. Therefore, commissioned work is treated differently to other artwork and on the whole is non-returnable, because any issues or preferences will have already been communicated and resolved before completion.
I ask customers to review and agree my commission process when they wish to proceed and commence work on a personal commission. I also take care to ensure that customers are aware of my work, what work I accept for commissions and our joint expectations of the process. In the rare event that a project hits problems, I would endeavour to work with my customers to resolve them to their satisfaction.
