Brentwood Art Trail 2025
Once again I am getting ready for a June that walks, talks and shares art in a wonderful celebration for artists and art lovers in Brentwood, Essex.
As usual I'll be doing lots of activities - the starred events above are bookable here, no need to book the others, just come along and join us!
I'm starting the month by guiding the Brentwood Tour on launch day and following that up with some plein air painting in the high street.
I'm really looking forward to my fun and collaborative painting day out on the 7th with the amazing John Ball @bewarethevoid (website here) who inspired me to apply to Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the year when I watched him as a semi-finalist in the competition. Very excited! Just pop along and join us opposite Shenfield Library between 11-4 and say hi.
We'll be heading Merrymeade house for our popular plein air art session on the 11th in the beautiful gardens, fuelled by lashings of tea and cake. Get in on the action here.
On the 13th I'll be holding a really special talk and exhibition at Tom Howley Kitchens, my amazing partner business again who have been so supportive and hosted my work all year in 24/25 - more below on this. Spaces are limited so get yourself booked up here.
Also really looking forward to another collaborative session - this one a portrait session alongside the talented Nancy Walker @nancywalkerart towards the end of the trail - if you fancy joining us please just head here to book your place.
Any questions please just let me know and hopefully catch up with some of you on the trail x

If you join us, you'll hear about my time painting at the stunning South Weald nature reserve in Brentwood, trying to find the wild fallow deer herd their and capture some of their strange beauty as well as sharing some of the other wonderfulmoments I’ve had making art in nature.

My experience as a Wildcard heat winner
It's been a while now but for those who have just caught me on catch up :) I was lucky enough to enter Sky Landscape of the Year 2023 and win the wildcard heat for the Royal Ascot Picnic Area (Series 8, Episode 5).
It was an incredible day and you can read all about my experiences on my blog post or in my blog post here or read my interview with Cass Art about my experience, process and favourite art materials.
The painting I made is currently on display at Tom Howley, Brentwood and is available for sale here.

Bob Cat Gallery Online and IRL!
I've been part of the fantastic Bob Cat Gallery Online for a while now and I love Bob Cat's ethos - offering a range of beautiful, affordable and original, small scale artworks for everyone to own and enjoy.
Now Bob Cat have expanded moving to a larger gallery space at the same location in Putney with visitors able to see a collection of my work, large and small, alongside a huge array of other beautiful art and sculptures.
Find them: Upstairs at Putney Exchange Shopping Centre, Putney High Street, London SW15 1TW.
Check out my profile at the gallery online and work available for sale here.
Rugby Art
A while back I made some art for my local rugby club - Upminster Rugby Club with all proceeds from the work going towards a fundraising drive to improve our club facilities. I'm a huge rugby fan and really loved making art about it.
Check out my page explaining a little bit more about this series of work.
Limited Edition Prints of the four artworks are available to order now.
Head over to my store to see the single artworks listings and special full set offer.
Thinking about buying art...
I've created a quick guide to all the ways my work is available for sale in response to a few questions I've had over the past few months.
Hopefully it should summarise how it all works but of course if you have any questions please just get in touch.
