WILD, DARK & INSPIRED BY NATURE
Artist Statement:
I paint birds, wildlife, wild landscapes and abstract artworks inspired by themes of resilience, survival and adaptability.
I think of my work as dusk-like, in it's colour, impact and evocative nature.
I am interested in the moments of challenge and transformation in life and the inherent courage and strength we share with all living creatures.

I paint in acrylics, draw and use mixed media, working from my garden studio on the borders of London and Essex, UK.
I move between figurative and abstract work, always with emotional energy and movement.
I am an expressive, instinctive painter and I'm driven by making real and important connections with others through my work and my practice.
